Our own home is a place where we have become accustom to feeling a sense of safety. An unexpected act of violence, or even the threat of violence, can shake us to the core and make us anxious and fearful of places where we would normally seek refuge. It is especially traumatic when the violence takes place in our own home.
Recently, in Flint Michigan two homes were struck by stray bullets while the family was sleeping. In each instance, three bullets were randomly shot into the dwellings in the middle of the night.

A 59-year-old woman in Norton Shores was robbed on March 20. According to the police, the woman had just finished shopping at a grocery store and was loading her car when a man pulled up and grabbed her purse out of the cart. The woman tried to stop him from taking it before the man in the Pontiac G6 accelerated, pulling her behind the vehicle and throwing her into another car that was parked nearby.

House fires can have a devastating effect on families who find themselves losing everything due to a force of nature that simply can’t be stopped. This happens all too often, but sometimes the fire can even spread to other homes and cause unbelievable amounts of damage.
A New Jersey neighborhood is coming to terms with this after a home explosion left 20 separate homes uninhabitable. Being injured on the job is something that no one ever wants to deal with. With the amount of machinery that can exist in a factory, there are plenty of things that can go wrong that can leave workers seriously injured if they aren’t careful.
The Ford parts factory in Brownstown recently had an accident that injured two people. The accident happened around 11 in the morning when chemicals spread into other areas of the factory, burning two workers who were nearby, one of whom was attempting to help the other already injured worker.
