Our own home is a place where we have become accustom to feeling a sense of safety. An unexpected act of violence, or even the threat of violence, can shake us to the core and make us anxious and fearful of places where we would normally seek refuge. A 59-year-old woman in Norton Shores was robbed on March 20. According to the police, the woman had just finished shopping at a grocery store and was loading her car when a man pulled up and grabbed her purse out of the cart. The woman tried to stop him from taking it before the man in the Pontiac G6 accelerated, pulling her behind the vehicle and throwing her into another car that was parked nearby.
