When dogs owned by Michigan residents injure victims, owners can be charged with a felony crime. However, a ruling reached on Wednesday by the Michigan Court of Appeals clarifies some of the stipulations that must be met for felony charges to be filed in connection with Michigan Dog Bite Injuries.

Four people were left with Michigan Truck Accident Injuries following a multi-vehicle chain reaction crash yesterday. The incident happened just before noon along Interstate 70, outside the town of Halfway, Michigan.
According to the Herald-Mail, traffic along the westbound lanes of the highway passing over Interstate 81 had begun to slow due to congestion. A tractor-trailer traveling along the stretch of road failed to see the traffic ahead and slowed down. The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) reports there were a total of 96 Grand Rapids Bicycle Accidents and 194 such collisions in Kent County in 2011. Seventy-seven percent of those crashes resulted in a cyclist being injured or killed.
In an effort to decrease the number of bicycle accidents in Grand Rapids, officials accepted a $485,321 grant from the state to be used to improve bicycle safety in the region. A female mail carrier sustained serious Michigan Dog Bite Injuries after becoming the victim of a canine attack last week. Records show the incident happened at approximately 4 p.m. on July 15, at a residence located on Missouri Avenue in the town of Flint, Michigan.
